About The Position

The Ice Cream Clerk prepares ice cream and serves guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. The role includes greeting guests, processing and fulfilling orders, making ice cream cones to order, and applying toppings or accommodating special requests. The clerk also maintains the ice cream and seating area, cares for equipment, and performs opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 14 years.
• No previous experience required; willingness to learn.
• Current and valid state-issued food handler’s permit.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate confidently and clearly.
• Enjoy working with others.
• Ability to work independently and manage oneself.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of computer systems, MS Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests through interaction and courteous service.
• Prepare and serve all ice cream menu items.
• Operate, respect, and care for equipment properly.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked ice cream and seating area.
• Perform opening and closing duties for the ice cream equipment and area.
