About The Position

The Ice Cream Clerk prepares ice cream and serves guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. The role includes greeting guests, processing and fulfilling orders, making ice cream cones to order, and applying toppings or accommodating special requests. The clerk also operates and cares for equipment, maintains the ice cream and seating areas, and performs opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Must be at least 14 years old.
• No previous experience is required; willingness to learn is required.
• Must have a current and valid state-issued food handler’s permit.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate confidently and clearly.
• Enjoy working with others.
• Self-sufficiency and the ability to manage yourself.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of computer systems, MS Word, and Excel.
