About The Position

Keysight is hiring a Senior IC Test Engineer for its Technology Organization in Santa Rosa, California. The engineer will develop on-wafer microwave and millimeter-wave measurement solutions to characterize and screen Keysight-designed integrated circuits. Work spans exploratory R&D design validation of cutting-edge MMICs and automated small-volume testing of integrated circuits designed and partly manufactured in-house. The role uses industry-leading tools in a measurement lab and involves collaboration with an experienced engineering team. The position requires in-person, hands-on work with test systems in Santa Rosa. The role also requires access to technology subject to U.S. export control laws. Employment of non-U.S. persons is contingent on Keysight obtaining any required government authorizations.

Requirements

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, with thesis work and/or relevant industry experience in millimeter-wave IC characterization.
  • At least 5 years of experience in on-wafer testing, including probe calibration and integrated-circuit measurements.
  • Experience characterizing RF active and passive components, including measurements such as reflection coefficient, matching, TOI, P1dB, and noise figure.
  • Expertise using test and measurement equipment such as network analyzers, signal sources, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Proficiency in software development/programming in at least one of C#, C++/.NET, C, or Visual Studio.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills to work across teams and projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Motivation to complete tasks on aggressive product-development schedules and meet manufacturing expectations.
  • Ability to work in a leadership or lead role.
  • Ability to work in person with test systems in Santa Rosa, California.
  • For non-U.S. persons, employment is contingent on Keysight obtaining any required government authorizations for access to export-controlled items.
