About The Position
Platinum Dental is seeking a motivated, dependable Hygiene Dental Assistant to support its dental hygienists and help deliver exceptional, patient-centered care. The role supports daily clinical operations, keeps appointments running smoothly, and helps create a comfortable, positive experience for patients. The assistant will work collaboratively with hygienists, dentists, and other team members in a fast-paced clinical environment. Requirements
- Previous dental assisting experience.
- Current dental X-ray certification, as required by state regulations.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist dental hygienists with daily clinical operations and patient care.
- Prepare and turn over hygiene treatment rooms between appointments.
- Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for hygiene procedures.
- Take dental X-rays in accordance with certification requirements.
- Sterilize instruments and follow proper infection control and safety protocols.
- Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visits.
- Support patient education on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical documentation.
- Keep hygiene treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Help maintain efficient patient flow and support the hygiene team's daily schedule.
- Collaborate with hygienists, dentists, and other team members to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
