About The Position

International Snubbing Services (ISS), a subsidiary of Superior Energy Services, provides well-intervention services including hydraulic workover (HWO), snubbing, well control, blowout prevention, P&A, offshore drilling, intervention solutions, and equipment. ISS is seeking an HWO Supervisor to join its team of snubbing and hydraulic workover specialists. The role includes a training period at the ISS facility in Arnaudville, Louisiana, and at various field locations. After training, assignments are primarily in the Gulf of America and at Texas land-based sites. Lodging, meal subsidies, and rotating schedules are provided based on the assigned project; an example schedule is 28 days on and 14 days off.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive oil and gas experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge and understanding of operations for 150K, 225K, 340K, 460K, and 600K HWO units.
• Ability to work in all types of environmental and extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to perform duties with all protective equipment and an H2S respirator when required.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train, supervise, and manage HWO crews.
• Coordinate project strategies with onsite company representatives.
• Inspect the unit, associated equipment, and current operations at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Record compliance-check findings and submit them to HSE.
• Monitor unit operators and ensure they effectively delegate responsibilities.
• Generate daily Equipment Service Orders (ESO).
• Evaluate and mentor HWO personnel.
