HVAC Tune-Up Technician

The HVAC Tune-Up Technician maintains and optimizes heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The role includes inspecting, diagnosing, and servicing HVAC units to support efficiency, safety, and reliability. Routine work includes cleaning or replacing air filters, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating moving parts, and calibrating thermostats. Technicians also test systems, monitor performance, and adjust equipment to improve airflow and energy efficiency. They communicate system conditions to customers, recommend repairs or upgrades, and promote preventative maintenance to help extend equipment life, prevent failures, enhance comfort, and reduce energy costs. The company is seeking both experienced and entry-level technicians and includes paid training.
Requirements
- Valid social security card.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and service HVAC systems to support efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Clean or replace air filters, check refrigerant levels, lubricate moving parts, and calibrate thermostats.
- Conduct system tests, monitor performance, and make adjustments to improve airflow and energy efficiency.
- Communicate system conditions to customers and recommend repairs or upgrades.
- Promote preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and help prevent system failures.
