About The Position

Lincoln Tech is hiring an HVAC Technician Instructor for its HVAC program at one of three Connecticut campuses: East Windsor, New Britain, or Shelton. The instructor educates and mentors aspiring HVAC professionals through theoretical instruction and hands-on training in well-equipped facilities, preparing students for careers in the HVAC industry and for certification exams. The role offers part-time and full-time opportunities and a four-day work week with three-day weekends. Requirements

• At least 3 years of HVAC Technician experience.
• S1 or S2 license, or the ability to obtain an S license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC Technologies following the accredited curriculum.
• Conduct hands-on training in the facility.
• Create an engaging learning environment that promotes student growth.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with industry standards.
• Stay current with HVAC technologies and practices.
• Collaborate with faculty to improve program effectiveness.
• Prepare students for certification exams and successful careers.
