About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking an HVAC Technician Instructor to teach and mentor aspiring HVAC professionals at its Shelton, Connecticut program. The instructor provides theoretical and hands-on training in a well-equipped, climate-controlled facility, following the accredited curriculum and preparing students for certification exams and careers in the HVAC industry. The role offers a four-day work week with three-day weekends and access to instructor support, professional development, and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

At least 3 years of HVAC Technician experience.
S1 or S2 license, or the ability to obtain an S license.
High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students.
Passion for teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

Teach HVAC technologies following the accredited curriculum.
Conduct hands-on training in the facility.
Create an engaging learning environment that promotes student growth.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Develop lesson plans aligned with industry standards.
Stay current with HVAC technologies and practices.
Collaborate with faculty to improve program effectiveness.
Prepare students for certification exams and successful careers.
