HVAC Technician Instructor - $8,000 Sign on Bonus! Part-time
About The Position
Lincoln Tech is hiring an experienced HVAC professional to teach and provide hands-on training in HVAC Technology at its fully equipped facility in East Windsor, Connecticut. The instructor delivers Lincoln Tech’s accredited curriculum through its Blended Learning Model and supports students through advising, mentoring, and consistent progress evaluations. No education background is required. The role includes completing the Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program and preparing students for careers in HVAC Technology. This is a part-time position scheduled Monday through Thursday evenings, with an $8,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of HVAC experience in the field.
- S1 or S2 Connecticut HVAC license.
- Ability to explain technical knowledge to people who are learning it.
- Genuine interest in helping others succeed.
- EPA 608 certification, required within the first 3 months.
- OSHA 30 certification, required within the first 3 months.
- Universal EPA 608 Refrigerant Recovery License.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Teach and provide hands-on training in HVAC Technology in a fully equipped facility.
- Deliver Lincoln Tech’s accredited course curriculum using the Blended Learning Model.
- Support and motivate students’ growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring.
- Evaluate and communicate student progress fairly and consistently.
- Teach students about safety and compliance.
- Maintain a professional, visitor-ready classroom environment.
- Complete the Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program.
- Prepare students for successful careers in HVAC Technology.
