About The Position

Pioneer Human Services is seeking a part-time Psychiatric ARNP to serve as a member of its Behavioral Health treatment team. The ARNP has overall medical and/or psychiatric responsibility for monitoring clients’ treatment and the team’s delivery of clinical services. The role includes providing medical and/or psychiatric assessments, medication management, and treatment; providing clinical supervision, education, and training to the team; and developing, maintaining, and supervising medication and medical treatment policies and procedures.

Pioneer Human Services is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering justice-involved individuals to overcome adversity and reach their full potential. It has served clients for over 60 years and operates more than 35 locations across Washington state. The position is safety-sensitive and subject to pre-employment and during-employment drug testing, including testing for marijuana.

Requirements

• Must be licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in good standing.
• CPR certification.
• Previous experience providing medical services, particularly mental health or psychiatric services.
• Two years’ experience working with people of color, sexual minorities, and vulnerable populations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience treating adult and older adult populations is strongly preferred.
• Three years’ experience as a medical or psychiatric provider for crisis and detox programs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients’ treatment and staff delivery of clinical services, with overall medical and/or psychiatric responsibility.
• Provide medical and/or psychiatric assessments, medication management, and treatment.
• Provide clinical supervision, education, and training to the team.
• Develop, maintain, and supervise medication and medical treatment policies and procedures.
