About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking a part-time HVAC Technician Instructor to join the founding team of its new HVAC program at a new facility in Lincoln, Rhode Island. The instructor will educate and mentor aspiring HVAC professionals through theoretical instruction and hands-on training in a fully equipped, state-of-the-art facility. No prior teaching experience is required; training and support will be provided. The role offers a four-day work week and an opportunity to help launch the program.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of HVAC Technician experience.
• Current RJ1 or PJ1 license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC technologies using the accredited curriculum.
• Conduct hands-on training in the facility.
• Create an engaging learning environment that promotes student growth.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with industry standards.
• Stay current with HVAC technologies and practices.
• Collaborate with faculty to improve program effectiveness.
• Prepare students for certification exams and careers in the HVAC industry.
