About The Position

Werley Heating & Cooling, now an Ace Hardware Company, is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join their team. Ace Hardware Home Services offers a wide range of residential maintenance and home repair services, aiming to be the best and most trusted provider of home preservation services with signature Ace Helpful service. This role is responsible for servicing all system issues on time and to the customer's satisfaction, troubleshooting and repairing customer systems, performing scheduled maintenance, and warranty work. The technician will also suggest system improvements and modifications, and work on HVAC equipment, furnaces, gas boilers, and zone systems. Top performers can earn over $90,000 annually through base pay, spiffs, and performance incentives.

Requirements

• Min 3 - 5 years Residential HVAC experience
• High school diploma/GED
• EPA Universal certification
• No sales pressure environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Customer service oriented
• Superior trouble-shooting/diagnostic and repair skills for a/c systems, gas and oil furnaces, gas and oil boilers, zone systems and other HVAC equipment
• Clean driving record
• Physically able to work on HVAC units.
• Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year.
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of US driving experience, is required for this role

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Heating and Air Conditioning Technology a plus
• Self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives

Responsibilities

• Servicing all system issues on time and to the customers satisfaction
