About The Position

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Selling Technician to join our team. This role is not just about repairing systems; it's about providing exceptional service, identifying and recommending HVAC solutions to improve system performance and energy efficiency, and closing sales that meet customer needs. You will combine your HVAC expertise with sales techniques to offer value-driven solutions, ensure systems run at peak performance, and build long-lasting customer relationships. Your goal is to deliver excellent service, build relationships, and grow the business.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • EPA certification
  • 4 to 5+ years of HVAC Service experience
  • 5 + years of proven success in selling direct to homeowners via in-home presentation
  • Strong sales, customer service, and closing skills
  • Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills
  • Assertive and confident personality
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks accurately
  • Commitment to company values
  • Ability to climb into and through attics and crawl spaces
  • Ability to work outside and in extreme temperatures
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Reliable & punctual attendance
  • Ability to be flexible in working a variable schedule including evenings and rotational weekends
  • Fluent ability to speak, read, and write in the English language
  • Must pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company protocols.
  • Engage customers in meaningful conversations about their HVAC systems, educating them on potential improvements, upgrades, or repairs.
  • Identify and present HVAC product and service recommendations based on customer needs and system analysis.
  • Close sales for system upgrades, new equipment installations, and preventative maintenance plans.
  • Establish rapport and trust with customers by offering tailored solutions, handling objections professionally, and providing clear, honest advice.
  • Generate new business opportunities through customer referrals, follow-ups, and actively seeking potential service or upgrade opportunities.
  • Work closely with dispatch and sales teams to ensure timely scheduling and seamless follow-up.
  • Meet and exceed personal sales goals while maintaining high standards of technical service.
