HVAC Selling Technician

Barstow and SonsAnnapolis, MD
$125,000 - $150,000

About The Position

For decades, Barstow & Sons have been the go‑to name in the Annapolis area, and our growth means opportunity for technicians who know how to combine craftsmanship with consultative selling. You’ll have the backing of a respected local brand, strong lead flow, and a team that invests in your success with training, support, and the tools you need to win. If you’re driven, persuasive, and ready to elevate your income and your career with a company that values integrity and performance, this is your moment. What Honest Selling Looks Like Here We want to be direct about what this role involves. You will be expected to: Assess the full condition of a customer's HVAC system, not just the immediate complaint Present options around repair, upgrade, or replacement with clear explanations of cost, efficiency, and lifespan tradeoffs Recommend maintenance agreements where they genuinely make sense for the homeowner Document your assessments and recommendations accurately What we don't want: Manufactured urgency or fear-based selling tactics Recommending replacements when the data isn’t telling the story Inflating issues to hit a sales number Our reputation is 40+ years in the making. We protect it by hiring techs who sell with integrity, not pressure. You'll run residential service and diagnostic calls across our established customer base in our designated market in Maryland. Dispatch handles your scheduling, the Warehouse team ensures your company vehicle is stocked and maintained, and a support team is behind you so you can focus on the customer in front of you.
