Requirements

  • Experience as a residential HVAC service technician
  • Experience selling upgrades and services
  • Proven ability to generate repair revenue on service calls without pressuring customers
  • Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to clearly explain technical information in layman's terms and appropriately communicate findings to homeowners
  • Ability to build rapport and foster trust with customers
  • Comfort with recommending repairs, upgrades, memberships, and replacements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to cover our service area (New Orleans and the Northshore)
  • Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

  • Travel to assigned homes, accurately diagnose issues with heating and air conditioning systems, and clearly explain service options to homeowners.
  • Recommend additional upgrades, replacements, or improvements to drive revenue and optimize system functionality.
  • Perform top-quality repairs, maintenance, and approved upgrades.
  • Clearly document all findings, work performed, and customer decisions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction before leaving, provide tips for system performance and efficiency, and encourage customer referrals.
