About The Position
Acree Plumbing, Air & Electric is seeking an experienced HVAC Service/Sales Technician for their Sarasota branch. This role involves responding to residential HVAC emergencies, performing routine inspections, recommending repairs, and potentially selling new equipment. The company has been in business since 1967 and serves the Tampa community and surrounding counties, emphasizing same-day service and unparalleled customer care. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service.
- 3+ Years in Residential Service experience.
- Knowledge of diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Service Titan experience is a must.
- Clean background check.
- Good Driving MVR Record.
- Able to pass a drug screen.
- Ability to drive a company vehicle is a must.
- Must be able to work weekends as well as On-call shifts.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Undergo a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must have knowledge of the phases of residential HVAC.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in residential HVAC service, maintenance or repair.
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience is encouraged.
- Experience with Service Titan.
Responsibilities
- Respond to, diagnose, and resolve HVAC emergencies (residential).
- Perform routine inspections of HVAC systems.
- Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Keep the customer informed of what, when, and how you will be getting the job done.
- Learn product features and benefits.
- Follow proper procedures for obtaining purchase orders, material recycling, etc.
- Maintain the required equipment and inventory in the vehicle for maximum efficiency.
- Run Service demand calls as well as maintenances.
- Recommend repairs and potentially sell equipment.
