About The Position
Pine Tree Food Equipment is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to provide commercial HVAC and refrigeration service. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment and working independently in the field. Technicians must be flexible to work on-call shifts and overtime when needed. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, complete a successful background check and drug screen, and be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available. Pine Tree Food Equipment provides commercial cooking equipment repair, refrigeration service and installation, parts, and preventive maintenance. The company has locations in Gray, Brewer, and Saco, Maine, and Laconia, New Hampshire. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and certifications. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is available for experienced technicians.
Requirements
- Commercial HVAC/R and refrigeration experience.
- EPA Type II certification at minimum.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets the company's safety standards.
- Flexibility for on-call shifts and overtime when needed.
- Strong organizational skills and work ethic.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
