About The Position
Pine Tree Food Equipment is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to service commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing equipment independently in the field, with flexibility to work on-call shifts and overtime when needed. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required, and applicants must be at least 18 years old. Pine Tree Food Equipment has provided commercial cooking equipment repair since 1989, with locations in Gray, Brewer, and Saco, Maine, and Laconia, New Hampshire. The company is CFESA-certified and also provides commercial refrigeration service, installation, parts, and preventive maintenance. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and certifications held.
Requirements
- Commercial HVAC/R and refrigeration experience.
- EPA Type II certification at minimum.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets the company's safety standards.
- Strong organizational skills and work ethic.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; the company cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
- Work independently in the field.
- Be available for on-call shifts and overtime when needed.
