The HVAC & Refrigeration Market Manager is responsible for leading and expanding the company’s commercial HVAC and refrigeration division within the assigned market. This role combines operational management, technical oversight, and business development to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance client satisfaction. The Market Manager ensures that commercial projects and service contracts are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably, while building a strong technical team and maintaining the highest standards of quality, performance, and customer service.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Technical and operational expertise in HVAC & refrigeration
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
  • Business development and client relationship management
  • Basic computer skills for cell phone communication and documentation; experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience in a similar environment.
  • Must have experience in maintenance, repairs and replacement
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and service accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, equipment, and controls.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC & refrigeration industry with at least 3 years in management / leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all HVAC and refrigeration projects, installations, and service contracts from planning to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Monitor financial performance, productivity, and operational efficiency across all projects.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, and market growth in the HVAC & refrigeration division.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, and key clients.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor project managers, service technicians, and field supervisors.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and leadership development to ensure high-performing teams.
  • Perform other duties as required to support business needs.
