About The Position
7-Eleven is seeking an HVAC/R Technician II to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency of store equipment, including refrigeration units, Slurpee machines, ice makers, and other in-store maintenance needs. The technician will also handle plumbing and electrical work, manage parts inventory, and ensure daily reports are completed. There are opportunities for training less experienced technicians and contributing to facility ownership.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 3+ years in HVAC or refrigeration repair and maintenance.
- EPA 608 (Type I and II or Universal) Certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Skills: Leadership, peer-to-peer Tech support, project/stretch assignments, and facility location ownership.
Responsibilities
- Respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, cold beverage equipment, and ice makers.
- Address work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues.
- Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency.
- Potentially train Preventative Maintenance Techs on HVAC-related equipment.
- Train lesser experienced technicians.
