About The Position
7-Eleven is seeking an HVAC Technician I to join their team and help keep their stores running smoothly. This role involves ensuring equipment like Slurpee machines are at the correct temperature and tackling in-store maintenance challenges. The technician will respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, and other in-store equipment, perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot/inspect HVAC systems. They will also manage parts inventory, complete daily reports, and train junior technicians.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years in HVAC or refrigeration repair and maintenance
- EPA 608 (Type I and II or Universal) Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Leadership potential
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, and other in-store equipment
- Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of systems
- Troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems using the latest tools and technology
- Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency
- Train and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with a supportive team
