About The Position

Harris Plumbing, Heating, Air, & Electrical is a growing, locally owned and operated full-service residential plumbing, heating, air, and electrical company serving New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. The company provides residential home services through a customer-focused service system. The Lead HVAC Installer installs HVAC equipment and systems in residences, including wiring, refrigerant lines, duct systems, and gas lines. The role also involves preparing equipment and materials, completing job paperwork, maintaining the assigned company vehicle, assisting team members, and carrying out other duties assigned by management. The position is full-time, in person, and pays starting at $35 per hour. Work may include 8- or 10-hour shifts, with weekends as needed and year-round work.

Requirements

HVAC experience; 2 years preferred.

Nice To Haves

Two years of HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

Install HVAC-related equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
Wire line- and low-voltage connections to heating and cooling equipment.
Install copper refrigerant lines to air-conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.
Install sheet-metal and flex-duct systems in residences.
Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment.
Receive, verify, and load equipment and materials needed for each job.
Assist other team members as directed by management.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and superiors.
Complete all paperwork required for each job.
Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned company vehicle.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
