About The Position
As an HVAC Install Apprentice, you will support licensed technicians and installers with setting up and installing heating and air conditioning systems in homes and businesses while learning hands-on. The position offers an entry point to building skills for a long-term career in a trade with steady demand. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn HVAC installation practices and safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Enrollment in or interest in an HVAC apprenticeship or trade school program.
Responsibilities
- Assist HVAC installers with the setup, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems, including ductwork and wiring.
- Prepare tools, materials, and work areas; perform basic measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembly tasks under supervision.
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and project instructions from senior technicians, ensuring work meets building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites, and document work performed and time logs as required.
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, and participate in training and safety meetings to build HVAC trade knowledge.
