About The Position

Action Air, Plumbing, & Septic is seeking HVAC Install Apprentices who want to build a long-term career with a growing company. Apprentices work alongside experienced installers on residential jobs and receive hands-on, step-by-step training to help them progress toward working independently and leading an installation team. The stated career path is Apprentice -> Installer -> Lead Installer -> Leadership Roles.

The role offers year-round work with at least 40 hours each week from January through December. Compensation is $15–$18 per hour, depending on experience, with performance bonuses. The company also offers a health insurance stipend, four weeks of PTO and holiday pay each year, paid training, cross-training, daily team huddles, and support for obtaining certifications or licenses. Employment offers are contingent on passing a criminal background check and drug screen.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good attitude and ability to take direction.
• Comfort working in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test; employment offer is contingent on these checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HVAC system installations in residential homes.
• Help set equipment, run ductwork, and prepare job sites.
• Learn and follow proper installation techniques rather than taking shortcuts.
• Keep tools, trucks, and job sites clean and organized.
• Support the lead installer and contribute to the team.
• Ask questions, learn quickly, and take ownership of professional growth.
