About The Position

TR Miller Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical is seeking HVAC Install Apprentices to support lead installers on residential HVAC projects, assist customers with heating and cooling needs, and build hands-on technical experience for a long-term career. The role includes on-the-job training and scheduled learning sessions. The company emphasizes a First-Time Fix approach, reliable systems, quality tools, continuous learning, safety, and professional, five-star customer service. The position pays potential earnings of $41,000–$52,000 annually, with eligibility for overtime for hours worked over 40 per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; there is no on-call work. Requirements

EPA Certification is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborative, customer-service-focused work style.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more, in compliance with OSHA manual handling guidelines.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including working in confined spaces, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and bending.
Ability to climb stairs, access attics, and enter crawl spaces as required.
Ability to work with frequent exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
Pre-employment background check required.

Responsibilities

Assist with removing outdated HVAC systems and installing new equipment.
Deliver work using a First-Time Fix approach, supported by reliable systems, quality tools, and continuous learning.
Participate in on-the-job training and scheduled learning sessions to build technical skills.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure job site.
Provide exceptional customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
