About The Position

The Human Services Program Representative 1 with the Department of Human Services (DHS) is an exciting chance to support programs that make a real difference for children and families across Pennsylvania. Join the Bureau of Certification Services and use your expertise to strengthen services that support communities every day. This position supports training and technical assistance for certification staff by working closely with multiple bureaus within the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL). The role helps create strong communication, clear guidance, and effective support across certification operations.

Requirements

Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor’s degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Meet the PA residency requirement.
Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate training efforts with staff, agencies, and stakeholders to meet certification needs
Follow federal and state requirements for child care certification and licensing
Provide training through presentations, webinars, and meetings across regional offices
Collect and examine data to help understand outcomes and support program planning
Create and update training materials, manuals, and support tools for certification staff
Lead and participate in training and technical assistance work groups and report results
