Join our team as a Home Visiting Program Consultant and help shape programs that make a real impact in communities across Ohio. In this role, you’ll partner with local agencies, provide expert guidance, and ensure families receive the highest quality prenatal-to-five home visiting services.

Requirements

  • Completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science, health or pre-medicine or comparable field; 18 mos. exp. in delivery of human services, health care services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider.
  • Completion of graduate core program in social or behavioral science or medicine-related or comparable field; 6 mos. exp. in delivery of human services, health care services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider.
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
  • Background in health or human services, early childhood, or related field.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
  • Must provide own transportation or in order to operate a state vehicle, you must have a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of home visiting models and state systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Guide local home visiting programs with technical assistance and best practices, including on-site visits.
  • Build strong partnerships with community organizations and state programs.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve program performance and compliance.
  • Work with data systems and analyze trends to strengthen services.
  • Represent the program at workshops, conferences, and community events.
