About The Position

The Learning & Development Division of the HR Department is seeking a dynamic individual whose availability and career objectives align with a part-time opportunity not exceeding 29 hours per week. The ideal candidate is one who specifically prefers part-time employment and is seeking a long-term engagement within this capacity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • supplemented by vocational or technical training in human resources or related field
  • three years of experience in customer service, clerical, or administrative work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with students and instructors in a learning environment.
  • Experience with virtual learning platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
  • Experience with learning management systems , scheduling classes, meetings, and events; creating course materials, and ability to process tuition assistance payments.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, and address customer concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Performs customer service and support functions in person, by telephone or by email; provides information and assistance regarding department services, forms, learning management or other issues; responds to routine questions, complaints, or requests for service; initiates problem resolution.
  • Utilizes computerized Human Resources Learning Management system to process transactions: enters, modifies, and updates employee records and information.
  • Provides administrative and technical support to the Learning and Development division.
  • Prepares materials and rooms for classes or meetings: sets up rooms and supplies; prints agendas, rosters, certificates, or other materials; assembles packets; prepares refreshments; orders lunches; and greets attendees.
  • Organizes and maintains supplies and resources: orders office supplies, maintains library of learning resources, and maintains orderly work areas.
  • Enters, tracks, and reconciles expenditures, estimates, and adjustments for tuition reimbursement.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
