An experienced Human Resource Specialist with a strong background in federal staffing and recruitment, position classification, and performance management. You have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of federal HR guidelines and practices. Your expertise allows you to effectively manage HR functions, support employee performance, and contribute to the overall success of the organization. .How You Will Make an Impact Federal Staffing & Recruitment Execution: You will manage end-to-end federal recruitment actions using USA Staffing and USAJOBS, including posting vacancy announcements, conducting job analyses, developing specialized experience statements, determining minimum qualification eligibility, establishing and facilitating SME panel reviews, issuing certificates, and referring qualified candidates in accordance with OPM regulations. Strategic Hiring Consultation: You will provide expert consultation to hiring managers, guiding them through federal hiring authorities, merit promotion procedures, and recruitment strategies to ensure compliant, efficient, and customer-focused hiring outcomes. Position Classification & Advisory Services: You will classify General Schedule (GS) positions in accordance with OPM classification standards, including conducting FLSA determinations, sensitivity level and background investigation determinations, and drafting comprehensive factor evaluation statements. You will provide expert-level advisory support to supervisors throughout the classification process. Performance Management Support: You will support the development, updating, and monitoring of performance plans within USA Performance and provide recommendations to supervisors to ensure performance standards are clear, measurable, defensible, and aligned with mission requirements. Project Tracking & Reporting: You will manage HR-related projects, track milestones, and provide structured weekly updates to leadership.
