About The Position

The Site Human Resources Specialist is responsible for assisting in supporting the day-to-day human resources efforts for the specific production site in which the position is located. The Site Human Resources Specialist will help support functional areas to include staffing, performance management, compensation, benefits, internal and external compliance, record retention and safety. The Site Human Resources Specialist will maintain a high level of confidentiality concerning all company matters including, but not limited to, personnel actions, terminations, and organizational plans. The Site Human Resources Specialist helps with employee site benefits programs, responds to employee inquiries regarding benefits, distributes informational literature to employees, processes enrollments, changes, and termination. The Site Human Resources Specialist will perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in the human resources field.
  • At least 1 year in a human resources position.
  • Basic working knowledge of the major functional areas of HR including recruiting/staffing, policy administration, and benefits/payroll administration.
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken, written, and presentation).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Some college or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
