About The Position

ITW Commercial Construction North America (CCNA), a division of ITW, is seeking a Human Resources Intern for summer 2027. The intern will apply their education through practical experience in recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, talent and development, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion. The position is based at ITW’s Corporate campus in Glenview, Illinois, and its operations facility in Itasca, Illinois. It runs from mid-May through early August 2027, at approximately 40 hours per week. The expected graduation date is Winter 2028 or Spring 2029. ITW is a global manufacturer with approximately 44,000 employees across 51 countries. ITW CCNA designs and manufactures fastening and concrete flatwork solutions for commercial construction applications. Starting pay is $22.70; base pay may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant skills, experience, and education.

Requirements

Be a rising junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, economics, or a related field.
Have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate leadership and teamwork capabilities through extracurricular, academic, or other activities.
Show eagerness to learn, curiosity, and a drive to excel.
Be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Expected graduation in Winter 2028 or Spring 2029.

Responsibilities

Partner with the CCNA HR team on workplace matters, including talent, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and the wellness program.
Support the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.
Create division-wide HR communications.
Assist with the summer internship program.
Complete additional projects as assigned.
