About The Position

The HR Intern will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager, with a primary focus on organizing, sorting, and maintaining employee files and HR records. The intern will also assist with onboarding new hires and other HR-related activities. At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality, or a related field; or have equivalent administrative/HR experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general digital tools, with the ability to manage data and systems accurately
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, leaders, and external partners
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with accuracy
  • Must be a student at the College of Charleston

Nice To Haves

  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and event days; experience in events, food & beverage, or working with non-profits is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding tasks, including preparing documentation and supporting orientation
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks like data entry, maintaining employee records (digital and paper), and supporting HR communications
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager.
  • Support the sourcing, engagement, and onboarding of nonprofit organizations
