Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related degree.

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple teams, assisting with a variety of projects and day-to-day tasks within the HR department, which includes focus areas such as Communications, Compensation and Benefits, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, HR Business Partners, HR Information Systems, Talent Acquisition, and Training & Development.
  • Partner with a mentor to guide your work through the summer.
  • Support projects that are critical to the department’s key initiatives for the year, which may include attending meetings, conducting research, gathering data and benchmarking, drafting communications, managing logistics, and providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist with annual processes that initiate within HR, for example: onboarding, succession planning, Career Development Discussions, annual performance review cycle, compensation cycle, etc.
  • Conduct analysis of company metrics, such as hiring, performance, succession planning, and turnover.
  • Create and review job descriptions for both professional and trade positions, ensuring alignment with current roles by auditing existing descriptions.
  • Assist with day-to-day duties as assigned across departments.

Benefits

  • The hourly wage for college Interns starts at $18. Students may be paid higher wages based on their year in school.
