About The Position

Dalcom Engineering is seeking a part-time Human Resources Intern to assist with recruiting and general office support. The role offers a college student hands-on experience in human resources, recruiting, and business operations. Hours can be flexible around a full-time college schedule, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. This position is exclusively open to HUBZone-eligible residents; proof of residency and documentation of a qualifying address are required.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Dependable and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working with basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to handle applicant and employee information professionally and confidentially.
• Must be a HUBZone resident and provide proof of residency and documentation of a qualifying address.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in Human Resources, Business, Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and screen applicants in Dalcom's applicant tracking system.
• Help identify qualified candidates for open positions.
• Prepare a weekly summary of qualified candidates for management.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating interviews.
• Participate in candidate interviews as class schedule and availability allow.
• Help maintain recruiting and applicant records.
• Assist with job postings and other recruiting activities.
• Provide general office and administrative support as needed.
• Assist with other HR and company projects as assigned.
