About The Position

Are you looking for hands-on Human Resources experience while making a meaningful impact? As a Human Resources Intern, you will support recruiting efforts and help attract top talent to our organization. If you are interested in talent acquisition and helping others find rewarding career opportunities, this internship could be a great fit for you. This is an in-office position located in West Des Moines, Iowa, requiring full-time hours during the summer and 15 hours per week during the school year. In this role, you will work closely with our Talent Acquisition team and support a variety of recruiting initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience managing full-cycle recruiting for our internship program while collaborating with the Talent Programs Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Coordinator on recruiting efforts for full-time positions. As an intern, you will also participate in corporate activities designed to provide exposure to our industry, organization, and culture. Our internship program follows an 80/10/10 approach: 80% of your time will be spent performing meaningful work and project-based assignments within your department. 10% of your time will be dedicated to learning from and networking with employees in other areas of the organization. 10% of your time will be spent participating in shared internship experiences that provide insight into our culture, leadership, and business operations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Passion for learning new things and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in person in our West Des Moines, Iowa office from May 2027 through May 2028, including full-time hours during the summer and at least 15 hours per week during the academic year.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis.
