Human Resouces Intern
About The Position
FHP Manufacturing, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a joint venture between Robert Bosch (BOSCH Group) and Carrier Corporation. FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry. This internship will involve ensuring compliance with federal, state, local and internal policies, assisting with recruitment, onboarding and workplace safety training, preparing site communication, assisting in establishing and maintaining associate resource groups, creating purchase orders for the department, assisting in the management of the employee engagement and recognition program, and supporting corporate required events and wellness programs.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources or Business
- Must possess a minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must have intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Must be flexible, able to work independently and with a team
Nice To Haves
- Prior knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
