Human Resources Intern

About The Position

Support Human Resources department with conducting interviews, meeting annual training requirements, employee evaluations, electronic tracking systems and job fair/community presence.

Requirements

  • Must be a currently enrolled in and working toward a degree in General Management, Business, HR, or related degree.
  • Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft outlook, Teams, and Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills (communication is key!)
  • Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Actively involved in the recruiting process from start to finish.
  • Assist with wellness projects and help plan upcoming employee events.
  • Assist with electronic record keeping for disciplinary actions and training records.
  • Assist with training needs, help with program rollouts, and tracking completion statuses for different touchpoints & deadlines.
  • Complete and send out the quarterly newsletter.
