We are seeking Human Resources Intern to support our team with impactful HR projects and initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while contributing to HR operations. In this role, you will regularly be exposed to sensitive and confidential employee information. A high level of discretion, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality is essential to maintain trust and compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, or a post graduate certificate in human resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy
  • Proactive, flexible and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Written and spoken French knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare HR documents including reports, employment confirmations, leave forms, promotions, transfers and other documents.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Respond to employee inquiries on topics like leave policies, address updates, and general HR matters.
  • Maintain weekly HR reports tracking departures and key metrics.
  • Update HR systems, dashboards, and forms.
  • Coordinate exit interviews by sending questionnaires, updating records, and liaising with the HR team.
  • Support documentation and improvement of HR processes and practices.
  • Audit employee records and reporting structures to ensure accurate organizational charts.
  • Assist with occupational health and safety communications and follow-ups.
  • Help manage work permit and visa applications.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and support HR initiatives.
  • Collaborate and contribute on various HR projects and administrative tasks.
