The Human Resources department at JDC has an exciting opportunity for students or early-career or career-pivot professionals interested in gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit Human Resources. The HR Intern will support the HR team across a variety of projects related to recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, and internship program coordination. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about HR practices within a global nonprofit organization while contributing to meaningful projects that support our US-based staff and mission. As an HR Intern, you will work closely with the HR Associate and broader HR team to support recruitment efforts, assist with internal HR projects and participate in employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, eager to learn, and interested in exploring different areas of Human Resources in a non-profit environment. This internship is unpaid. This role offers valuable exposure to HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and nonprofit organizational practices. JDC is happy to work with students to structure the internship in a way that supports eligibility for academic credit or external university stipends and funding programs.
