About the position
We are seeking an HR Intern for a 3-month contract to join our People Team at Level Ex. As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in various areas of HR and Recruiting, including talent development, performance management, talent acquisition, employer branding, HR systems management, and reporting. You will support the team in executing activities related to recruiting and onboarding, employee engagement, compensation planning, and more. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced and growing company, contributing to the improvement of employee experiences and the overall work environment.
Responsibilities
- Use the ATS and HRIS systems to support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, career planning, compensation planning, recognition, and rewards
- Generate HR reports for turnover, DEIB initiatives, and company swag mailing
- Research and recommend activities to improve culture, employee engagement, and performance
- Assist with maintenance and data analysis of compensation elements
- Research, document, and analyze trends in recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, talent management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Document processes, policies, and procedures for institutional knowledge
- Support the rollout of new and ongoing people programs
- Support the Office manager with event preparation and execution
Requirements
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or similar
- Availability to work 10-20 hours per week
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Ability to work with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Research and analytical skills
- Knowledge of recruitment and hiring practices
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
- Proficient in generating HR reports
- Ability to support and improve employee experiences
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate class schedule

- Support the Office manager with preparing for and running events both on-site and virtually
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or similar
