About The Position

Our global Human Resources Generalist team partners with our HR teams and leaders to foster long-term mutual prosperity for each individual and for the organization. HR Generalists engage closely with employees, leaders, HR Business Partners, HR Professional Services, and HR Operations teams. In this role, you will help accelerate Daktronics’ success through people in the Brookings factory by partnering closely with leaders and teams on recruiting, candidate experience, employee experience, and HR process excellence. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will support the full employee lifecycle—including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and transitions—while serving as a trusted HR resource. You will collaborate with HR teams and leaders to implement best practices aligned with Daktronics’ philosophies, continuously improving processes and contributing to people and organizational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Ability to effectively exercise discretion, objectivity, and independent judgment, and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • The selected individual must be able to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy to begin and maintain employment.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Demonstrated success in HR, leadership, or supervisory roles.
  • Applying and enforcing policy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Managing multiple priorities.
  • Leading projects or process improvements.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory or Human Resources experience is preferred.
