About The Position

Delavan Holdings is hiring an onsite Human Resources Generalist in Delavan, Wisconsin, to own HR policy, compliance, and leave across six companies and more than 3,000 team members in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota. This is a compliance, policy, and project management role rather than a benefits role. Approximately half the job involves project-managing enterprise HR programs across every business unit, including the performance appraisal cycle, engagement survey, and enterprise policy rollouts.

Requirements

Experience in multi-entity, multi-location, or multi-state Human Resources environments.
Employment law knowledge, including the ability to identify state differences and determine where to research requirements and what questions to ask.
Leave administration experience.
Ability to manage projects across multiple companies and multi-month timelines.
Experience with an HRIS platform.
Ability to work onsite in Delavan, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

Write, update, and maintain HR policies and employee handbooks across all six companies.
Track employment law changes in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota and translate them into policy and practice.
Administer FMLA and state leaves, ADA accommodations, and return-to-work coordination.
Manage workers' compensation claims and support unemployment claims, wage and hour claims, and EEOC charges.
Own required notices, postings, compliance audits, and reporting.
Maintain employee and leave data in Paylocity.
Project-manage enterprise HR programs across every business unit, including the performance appraisal cycle, engagement survey, and enterprise policy rollouts.
