The People Operations Generalist fosters and promotes the engagement of Niowave’s core values at all levels while supporting organizational compliance, operational accountability, and workforce practices aligned with applicable employment laws and company philosophy. Supports activities including new hires, terminations, compensation adjustments, staff status changes, payroll auditing, and off-cycle that impact payroll processing. Supports Talent Engagement and recruiting efforts by coordinating and scheduling candidate interviews with hiring managers and interview teams. Assists with onboarding activities including preparation of new hire documentation. Supports new hire onboarding and orientation activities to ensure a positive and compliant employee onboarding experience. Maintains compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, FLSA, ESTA, wage and hour requirements, and related employment compliance obligations. Supports return-to-work planning, accommodation evaluations, and staff member reintegration efforts while balancing operational needs and legal requirements.
