About The Position

This position will serve as an internal customer support business partner for the production plant. This will include full cycle recruiting, administration and lead the safety program, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, company activity planning, payroll, and employee records. Ensuring accuracy and legal compliance both federally and state. Provides internal support and partnerships to business lines. Responsible for providing day-to-day professional HR support and policy administration relating to all phases of the employee life cycle (e.g. hiring, training, employee relations). This position will report to the Human Resources Manager. Serve as a strategic HR advisor to the plant Leads recruitment activities for Hourly roles within the plant Ensure all documentation complies with legal requirements Maintain all communications to employees, as needed, including the understanding of the handbook Coordinator of the Safety program and aid in driving a zero-incident culture Assist in HR projects with a continuous improvement mindset Manage timekeeping and payroll system Coordinate new employee orientation activities Handles mild to medium complex employee relations issues Provide training and support to leaders on topics such as employee relations, compliance matters and engagement Act as the Wellness Champion for corporate wellness initiatives Manage the annual United Way campaign Present employee benefits and support all employee concerns regarding benefits Work with third party administrators on all FMLA, STD, ADA, situations Ability to work outside of standard business hours as business demands Administering workday transactions Manage attendance record keeping in accordance with company and state laws

Requirements
