About The Position

Under the direction and guidance of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), the HR Generalist receives training in managing the human resources function, including policies and procedures, benefits, safety, compensation, training and development, employee relations, and communications. The role provides staff support to the HRBP in implementing personnel and employee relations responsibilities and develops the knowledge and experience needed to fulfill future HRBP positions. The position requires competency in activities that may directly or indirectly affect product safety, legality, or quality.

Requirements

A four-year degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

Responsibilities

Learn and understand the company's human resources and employee relations policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist the HRBP with personnel administration, wage and salary administration, management training and development, safety, benefits administration, employee communications and activities, staffing, legal compliance, and employee relations.
Develop human resources skills, knowledge, and experience to prepare for future HRBP positions.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision or management, including fulfilling work schedules and complying with attendance policies and applicable operating rules.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to equal employment opportunity, harassment, safety, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Demonstrate competency in on-the-job activities that may affect product safety, legality, or quality.
