About The Position

Kanto Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Consultant to provide project-based support across a variety of human resources initiatives. This role will partner closely with the Head of Human Resources and key business leaders to execute strategic and operational HR projects designed to enhance employee experience, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and support ongoing business growth. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, hands-on HR professional who can independently manage multiple projects while collaborating effectively across departments. This position is intended to provide tactical and project-based HR expertise to support key organizational initiatives while enhancing the effectiveness and capacity of the Human Resources function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple HR disciplines including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, training, and HR operations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification.
  • Experience supporting organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience with performance management redesign, job architecture, or compensation-related projects.
  • Event planning and employee engagement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) programs.
  • Support active recruitment efforts, including candidate sourcing, scheduling, interviewing, and onboarding activities.
  • Assist with recruitment process improvements and candidate experience initiatives.
  • Partner with HR leadership to redesign and modernize the organization's performance evaluation process.
  • Assist with form development, workflow design, manager training materials, and implementation planning.
  • Support HRIS projects, including ADP implementation, integration, testing, auditing, and process documentation.
  • Assist with system optimization and user adoption initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee training programs and leadership development initiatives.
  • Assist with curriculum development, training logistics, communications, and tracking participation.
  • Lead or support company-wide Job Description review and transition projects.
  • Audit existing job descriptions for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational structure.
  • Assist with job architecture and workforce planning initiatives as needed.
  • Conduct employee Stay Interviews and summarize findings, trends, and recommendations.
  • Administer employee feedback programs, including Suggestion Box initiatives and Brown Bag discussion sessions.
  • Support employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Coordinate company events such as Family Day, Town Halls, employee appreciation activities, and other employee engagement programs.
  • Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, communications, and execution.
  • Research, draft, and update select HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with policy implementation, employee communications, and compliance initiatives.
