About The Position

We are looking for an HR Labor Relations expert to join the HR organization. This is a temporary assignment providing services to Wizards through an external staffing agency. If you are selected for this assignment, you will be employed by Workwell as a W2 employee and will not be an employee of Wizards. This role will participate in collective bargaining for a first contract, ensuring a highly collaborative negotiation process. You will interact with union stewards and union reps maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship. You will collaborate with the Wizards HR Team, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Union representations, and Legal teams on any HR processes to ensure smooth implementation. You will manage HR processes for employees in the bargaining unit, including preparing communications and readiness initiatives. You will also advise and update HR policies, programs, and procedures to support new legal and compliance requirements and build capability within the Manager and HR community.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on labor relations and union environments.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and a track record of successful contract negotiations, specifically the ability to negotiate a first contract.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and partners.
  • Proficiency in HR operational changes and readiness communication.
  • Ability to manage and update HR documentation.
  • A positive, ambitious attitude and a dedication to excellence in all tasks.
  • Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry.
