About The Position

The Human Resources Intern contributes to their team or department by leveraging knowledge in several functional areas, including talent development, compensation analysis, succession planning, employee relations, and training programs, to name a few. The Human Resources Intern will take responsibility for several components of project-based and ad-hoc tasks. Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired.
  • Pursuing a degree in human resources.
  • Fluency in French.
  • A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the candidate will interact.
  • The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with different stakeholders (managers, supervisors, unionized employees (if applicable), salaried employees, HR colleagues, etc.)
  • Provide support to managers, supervisors, and unionized employees in the application of the collective agreement.
  • Ensure the procedures to be followed for the management of grievances, investigations, and the drafting of disciplinary measures.
  • Ensure the implementation of HR processes.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and improvement of human resources management tools.
