About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a high-visibility compliance initiative supporting a critical I-9 audit and data cleanup effort. You’ll work closely with HR and compliance teams, gaining hands-on experience with federal regulations, audit processes, and HR operations—all while making a measurable impact on the organization.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with I-9 verification and E-Verify
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid HR administrative and data entry experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma required
  • 1+ year of Human Resources experience

Responsibilities

  • Review and audit employee I-9 forms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and full compliance with federal regulations
  • Identify and flag missing or incorrect documentation and support resolution efforts
  • Partner with HR and compliance teams to coordinate corrections and maintain audit standards
  • Organize and manage physical I-9 files in alignment with retention and audit requirements
  • Track audit progress, outstanding items, and updates using Excel and internal systems
  • Support large-scale data cleanup and record reconciliation initiatives
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
  • Assist with audit readiness and support responses to internal and external audits
