About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) Analyst will report to the HR Manager, Operations Excellence for Health & Science Technologies. This role will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics to make data-driven recommendations related to workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and legal compliance. As processes and standardization are achieved, this role will play a critical role in the transformation of our workforce metrics into actionable strategies, ensuring HR initiatives align with broader business goals. This role is fully remote; however, candidates should be located within the Eastern Time Zone. We prefer candidates residing in the Greater Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, or New York metropolitan areas to facilitate occasional in-person meetings and collaboration.

  • Power BI and Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and charts.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the Workday HRIS and the various dashboards within Workday.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least three years of HR Systems experience with exposure to related areas such as talent, recruiting, workforce planning, job classification and compensation, training, and/or equal opportunity compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the Workday human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to demonstrate trends which improve management decision making.
  • Prepares and delivers monthly, quarterly, and annual reports/metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, motivate and retain employees, address staffing issues, and maintain legal compliance.
  • Ensures standardized reporting across the HST segment as well as site-specific reporting to enable informed decision making.
  • Ensures accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR processes and data in HR systems globally, including the design and implementation of data reviews and audits.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Support field HR with recruitment and onboarding transactions in Workday, from job posting to hire.
  • May assist HR leadership with staffing, recruiting, training and development, and other related initiatives.
  • May guide and/or assist with performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
